: The SBPA honors the memory of Paul Sanford

Somerville Business and Professional Association Representative Asha Martin of Fulton Bank presented two Paul Sanford Music Scholarship checks for $1500 each to Bridgette LeBouf of Immaculata High School and Jalen Scott of Somerville High School.

Congratulations Bridgette and Jalen!

The Paul Sanford Scholarship is a music scholarship awarded for involvement in holiday music and school music programs.

The scholarships, awarded by the SBPA, are named in honor of Paul Sanford who had served as president of the SBPA for several years.

Paul operated Sanford Jewelers on West Main Street before retiring several years ago.

Sadly, Paul passed in October of 2016.

The 2019 Somerville Street Fair Enjoyed Perfect Timing!

Events

SBPA Treasurer Lorraine Sarra described the fair and how the weather cooperated down to the last minute. “It was very, very busy. Lots of vendors and people on the street, buying and enjoying themselves. The weather was wonderful. Started to look overcast around 4.30 so they got the vendors closed down. At 5.05 PM,the skies opened up and it poured for over an hour with hard blowing winds.”

SBPA Street Fairs attract as many as 50,000 customers from all over New Jersey and out of state. Street fair vendors are always busy and enjoy the opportunity to meet customers in person and promote their local and online businesses. Great food and entertainment and fun for the whole family!
